Abstract
It forms the subject of the present invention to provide a formulation in the form of a prolonged-release tablet, namely a bilayer tablet, containing melatonin and other active ingredients. In particular, the present invention relates to a formulation in multilayer tablet form comprising: - a first layer containing a mixture of gastro-resistant microparticles of melatonin and gastro-resistant microparticles of L-tryptophan, - a second layer containing a mixture of melatonin and a butyrate salt.
