Abstract
There is described a nanoporous composition, comprising: i) a first nanoporous component with a first pore characteristic; and ii) a second nanoporous component with a second pore characteristic; a) wherein the first nanoporous component and the second nanoporous component are mixed in the nanoporous composition; and b) wherein the first pore characteristic is different from the second pore characteristic, in particular thereby providing an adjusted hierarchical pore structure.
