Abstract
An atomization assembly (120, 200, 300) for heating a metal, the assembly (120, 200, 300) including a copper crucible (122, 202) arranged to hold the metal, a copper nozzle (124, 204) extending beneath the copper crucible (122, 202), a heating coil (138) extending around the copper crucible (122, 202) and the copper nozzle (124, 204), and a cooling system (138, 144, 308) in thermal communication with at least one of the copper crucible (122, 202) or the copper nozzle (124, 204).
