Abstract
A wheel assembly (10) for a motorcycle is described, comprising a wheel rim (15) on which a tire (16) is mounted, the wheel rim being mounted on a hub (14). The hub is rotatably mounted on a fixed, non-rotating wheel pin (20), defining a rotation axis of the wheel rim. A hubcap (30) is arranged in correspondence with the wheel pin and mounted integrally with the wheel pin, such that when said wheel assembly rotates about the wheel pin, the hubcap does not rotate, and in which the hubcap is contained within a volume defined by the wheel rim and tire assembly.
