Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a computer system (1000) for handling contactors in a vehicle system (200). The vehicle system (200) comprises a battery (201) electrically connected to a TVS (202) separated by a battery contactor (205a, 205b) and a HV load (203) electrically connected to the TVS (202) separated by a load contactor (208a, 208b). The computer system (1000) comprises processing circuitry (1002) configured to:- determine that charging has stopped,- determine to change the battery contactor (205a, 205b) from closed to open state,- determine that voltage at the TVS (202) is close to or equal to zero,- determine to change the load contactor (208a, 208b) from open to closed state,- determine that a result of an insulation monitoring indicates that a risk for insulation error is below a risk threshold,- determine to change the battery contactor (205a, 205b) from open to closed state.
