Abstract
A circuit board has a mounting hole in which terminals of a laser diode are inserted, the terminals extending to the side opposite to a laser beam emitting direction. A peripheral wall portion has a guide member. The guide member protrudes from an outer circumferential surface and is inserted into a board insertion hole formed in the circuit board. A distal end of the guide member is positioned on an opposite side of the laser beam emitting direction with respect to a distal end of the laser diode terminal.
