Abstract

An information processing system includes a processor configured to perform a control of storing a medium information group that is a set of medium information in which a physical property of a recording medium and image forming control information for controlling image forming on the recording medium are associated with each other, a control of acquiring measurement information that is information related to a measured physical property of the recording medium, a control of determining that the image forming is unavailable for the recording medium based on the acquired measurement information, a control of registering, in registering the physical property of the recording medium in the medium information group, the unavailability of the image forming for the recording medium in the medium information, and a control of displaying, in displaying information on the registered recording medium from the medium information group, the unavailability of the image forming for the recording medium in association with the recording medium.
