Abstract
Devices, systems, instruments, and methods for promoting healing and stability for bone fractures. The bone stabilization system may include a periprosthetic plate configured to treat a periprosthetic fracture around an existing prosthesis. The periprosthetic plate may be especially suitable for the fixation of fractures and fragments in the greater trochanter region of the proximal femur. The periprosthetic plating may be used to create a rigid construct with permanent fixation to promote primary healing and stability.
