Abstract

Provided is a cutting element (10) for an electric shaver. The cutting element includes a substrate (12), and a film layer (18) on the substrate. The film layer is configured to enable a colored spectral composition of visible light, provided by constructive interference of light reflected from lower and upper surfaces (22, 26) of the film layer, to be reflected from the cutting element when white light is incident thereon. Further provided is an electric shaver including such a cutting element, and a method of manufacturing the cutting element.
