Abstract

An apparatus (1) for removing dust from fibre material is disclosed comprising a mesh conveyor belt (2), a dedusting tunnel (5) in which the mesh conveyor belt (2) advances and a loading zone (6) outside the dedusting tunnel (5), the mesh conveyor belt (2) extends between a first end (3) and a second end (4) of the apparatus (1) and is configured to convey the fibre material from the first end (3) to the second end (4), the loading zone (6) extends between the first end (3) and an intermediate portion (8) of the apparatus (1), the dedusting tunnel (5) defines a treatment zone (7) that extends between the intermediate portion (8) and the second end (4), the apparatus (1) comprises sucking means (9) configured to suck dust from the fibre material and injecting means (10) configured to inject a gaseous fluid onto the fibre material, the sucking means (9) and the injecting means (10) are arranged in the dedusting tunnel (5), the sucking means (9) is further arranged at the loading zone (6).
