Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and a cabin (1) for ironing and finishing one or more garments (212) with an operating fluid, said ironing and finishing method comprising providing an ironing and finishing cabin (1) having a seat (211) for receiving the garments (212) arranged in an operative chamber (2), a management circuit for regulating the characteristics of the operating fluid comprising a channel, an inlet port (101) receiving the operating fluid from said channel and placing the garments in the seat (211). The operating fluid is introduced from a top zone (21) of the cabin (1) through the inlet port (101) so as to invest said garments (212) from the top zone (21) towards a bottom zone (22) of the cabin (1), the inlet port (101) being configured and dimensioned so as to have a projection onto the bottom zone (22) of the cabin (1) that invests and covers the entire seat (211). Furthermore, the operating fluid reaches the seat (211) and the garments (212) in a uniform manner at a speed of at least 45 km/h and at a temperature of 65-110°C, so as to iron and finish all the garments (212) uniformly.
