Abstract

The present disclosure provides a modular connector for ready-to-assemble furniture components, comprising a socket component (200) with a housing (210) having an internal guide (220) and a resilient element, and a pin component (100) with a head (110) configured to engage the internal guide (220) and the resilient element. The resilient element is configured to provide an audible click when assembled with the pin component (100), and the internal guide (220) is configured to create a tight fit between the socket component (200) and the pin component (100) when assembled. The resilient element may be a resilient tongue (240) positioned within an aperture (230) in the bottom wall (216) of the housing, or resilient side walls (211, 212) of the housing.
