Abstract

The present invention relates to an engagement device for mechanical gearbox (10; 10') comprising an actuating means, suitable to drive the rotation of a drive shaft (11) around a rotation axis (R) to couple a first gear (1) to a second gear, a first lever (17) rotating independently of said drive shaft (11), and a second lever (19; 19') integral with said drive shaft (11), both said levers being actuated by said actuating means (13), and an elastic link (21), interposed between said first and second levers in such a way that said levers can rotate by different angles when actuated by said actuating means (13). Thanks to the interaction between said levers (17, 19; 17, 19') and said elastic link (21) it is possible to couple the first gear (1) to the second gear, even when said gears are not aligned with each other and the teeth of said gears interfere with each other, simply by actuating the rotation of at least one of said gears.
