Abstract

A radiation source unit 2 includes a radiation source section 4 that emits radiation and that has a first surface 41a, a detection section 5 that is arranged together with the radiation source section 4 with a space between the detection section 5 and the radiation source section 4 and that has a second surface 52a that faces the first surface 41a in which the radiation is detected, and a shielding plate 6 that is provided between the first surface 41a and the second surface 52a. On the first surface 41a, an opening 41b that is formed in a shape in which a first direction is a longitudinal direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction is a transverse direction. The shielding plate 6 is formed in a shape that includes at least a part of a diamond shape when viewed in a third direction that is perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction, and is arranged such that a center line of the opening 41b in the second direction overlaps with a shorter diagonal line of the diamond shape.
