Abstract

The disclosure relates to a flexible electric connector (1) for high voltages with a strand (2), the strand (2) comprising two contact strand sections (2a) for electrically connecting the flexible electric connector (1) and a flexible strand section (2b) electrically connecting the two contact strand sections (2a), where the strand (2) is compacted in at least one contact strand section (2a) referred to as compacted contact strand section (2a), which compacted contact strand section (2a) comprises a through-hole (4) for a connecting element, with a hollow rivet (3) that extends through the compacted contact strand section (2a) and comprises the through-hole (4) for the connecting element so as to provide an improved electrical connector (1) with enhanced flexibility and conductivity.
