Abstract

The present invention relates to a cable tray assembly, comprising two U-shaped cable tray segments (1) and at least one L-shaped connection plate (4), with a side wing (5) and a bottom wing (6), which is pressure coupled to the two cable tray segments (1) to connect them to one another. A support part (10) formed in the bottom wing (6) of the connection plate (4) fits with a stop part (9) formed in the bottom wall (2) of the two cable tray segments (1), such that the stop part (9) blocks the relative movement of the support part (10) with respect to the bottom wall (2) at least in a vertical direction perpendicular to the bottom wall (2) and in a direction away from said bottom wall.
