Abstract

The present invention relates to a cable tray assembly, comprising two U-shaped cable tray segments (1) and at least one L-shaped connection plate (4), with a side wing (5) and a bottom wing (6), which, in a coupling position, is pressure coupled to the two cable tray segments (1) to connect them to one another. In an intermediate position, the connection plate (4) is inclined and rests against the free end of the side wall (3) of the tray cable segments (1) and a support part (10) of the bottom wing (6) rests against a stop part (9) of the bottom wall (2) of the cable tray segments (1). To go from the intermediate position to the coupling position, the connection plate (4) pivots and is displaced towards the side wall (3).
