Abstract

The disclosure relates to an electric machine (100) for vehicle propulsion. The electric machine (100) comprises a housing (150). The electric machine (100) comprises a rotor with a rotor shaft (120). The electric machine (100) further comprises at least one bearing (130). Further, the electric machine (100) comprises a first electrical insulation element (140) having an inner cavity. The rotor shaft (120) is supported on the housing (150) of the electric machine (100) by the at least one bearing (130). The at least one bearing (130) is arranged in the inner cavity of the first electrical insulation element (140). The first electrical insulation element (140) is rigid. The disclosure further relates to a first electrical insulation element (140) for the electric machine (100).
