Abstract

The present invention relates to a modular shutter system consisting of aluminum panels (top plating, side walls, gutters) that is assembled on site using fitting bolts, eliminating the need for welding. Each component can be easily transported in a single 40-foot open-top container. Welded reinforcement profiles (U and W profiles) and precisely folded parts in the bottom and rubber gutter create a watertight construction that fits together easily. The top plates have square recesses, while corresponding oval holes in the side walls allow for tolerance and alignment. This means that one person can carry out the assembly: the fitting bolt clicks into the square hole and is tightened from below. There are two types of side walls: Type 1 for assembly from above and Type 2 with 'bar holes' for insertion from the side. This design guarantees a sturdy, watertight shutter closure with minimal transport and assembly costs.
