Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for discharging offgas from an oxidation of a working solution containing hydrogenated alkylanthraquinone (AQ) and/or hydrogenated alkyltetrahydroanthrahydroquinone (ATQ) by using an oxygen containing gas, wherein the temperature of the offgas is increased in two steps by subjecting it to a heat exchanger and to a steam heater, before the temperature and the pressure of the offgas are reduced in an turbo expander.
