Abstract
The present disclosure provides sensor units that can be used to measure the actual radiation dose during brachytherapy or external radiation, as well as a reading device for the sensor units. In particular, a sensor unit comprises a hollow tubular body and a polymer hydrogel filling. The hollow tubular body of the sensor unit may have a circular cross-section shape or a rectangular cross-section shape. Depending on the shape of the sensor unit, various uses of the sensor unit to measure radiation dose inside or outside the body are possible.
