Abstract

Provided is a connector that allows a shield case to be easily and inexpensively fixed to a rear case and that can be reduced in size and height. A connector 100 includes: a bar-shaped terminal 61 electrically connectable to an internal conductor of a coaxial cable; an insulating holder 62 supporting the terminal 61 inserted therein; a tubular shell 63 electrically connectable to an external conductor of the coaxial cable and fitted onto the holder 62; a shield member 65 in contact with the tubular shell 63; a shield case 66 in contact with the tubular shell 63; and a rear case 10 in intimate contact with the shield case 66. The tubular shell 63 has a tubular body section 63a covering the holder 62, and an annular flange section 63b. The shield case 66 has: a connection section (66d) electrically connected to the flange section 63b; and a constricted tubular section 66c connected to an outer edge 66d1 of the connection section 66d and having a reduced diameter relative to the outer edge 66d1.
