Abstract

A shroud for attaching an object to a helmet includes a fastener for attaching An interface for attaching an object to headgear includes a shroud for attaching an object to a helmet. The shroud includes a frame. The frame includes a central portion, a first extension extending from a first lateral side of the central portion, a second extension extending from a second lateral side of the central portion, wherein the first side opposes the second side across the central portion. A first channel is disposed between the central portion and the first side extension and a second channel is disposed between the central portion and second side extension. The channels allow the side extensions to flex relative to the central portion for attaching the shroud to the helmet.
