Abstract

A method of manufacturing an implant (200) including additively manufacturing the implant (200) from a first material such that the implant (200) defines a plurality of pores (205). Then inserting a filler material (206) into the pores (205) after the implant (200) has been manufactured. Next, overmolding the implant (200) with a second material after the filler material (206) has been inserted the pores (205), and then dissolving the filler material (206) from the pores (205) prior to deployment of the implant (200).
