Abstract

The disclosure relates to an illumination assembly for an interior of a passenger cabin of a vehicle (900). The illumination assembly comprises a light source unit (111). The illumination assembly further comprises a first, plate-shaped light radiation element (112) having a front surface orientable towards the interior of the passenger cabin of the vehicle (900). Moreover, the illumination assembly comprises a second light radiation element 113 arranged adjacent to an edge of the first, plate-shaped radiation element. The arrangement is such that the second light radiation element (113) may radiate towards the front surface of the first, plate-shaped light radiation element. The first, plate-shaped light radiation element (112) is optically coupled to the light source unit (111). Further, the second light radiation element (113) is optically coupled to the light source unit (111). The disclosure further relates to a vehicle (900) comprising the illumination assembly, and a method for operating the illumination assembly.
