Abstract
An energy handling system for converting, storing or transmitting energy, comprising a heat exchange unit with a first inner compartment and a flexible container mounted therein, forming a hermetically sealed volume filled with a first substance. The flexible container is controllably filled with a flexible-container fluid. At least one further heat exchange unit is in fluidic connection with the flexible container and/or the hermetically sealed volume for circulating the flexible-container fluid and/or the first substance, allowing heat exchange between the flexible-container fluid and/or the first substance and a second substance.
