Abstract

Aspects herein relate to a secondary battery (100). The secondary battery may include an electrode assembly (140) configured such that a first electrode plate (142), a second electrode plate (144), and a separator (146) are wound together, a case (110) configured to receive the electrode assembly (140) therein, a cap assembly (130) configured to seal the case (110), and a composite current collecting plate (150) located between the electrode assembly (140) and the cap assembly (130), the composite current collecting plate (150) having a plurality of lead tabs (154, 156) integrally formed thereon and being electrically connected to the first electrode plate (142) and to the cap assembly (130), the plurality of lead tabs (154, 156) being connected to the cap assembly (130).
