Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a functionality control method, a functionality control apparatus, and a communication system. The functionality control apparatus is applied to a terminal equipment, the apparatus comprising a first processor, the first processor controlling the terminal equipment to perform the following operations: transmitting first information to a network device, the first information being used to indicate information on a functionality, wherein the first information comprises resource information required for running of the functionality; and receiving first configuration information transmitted by the network device and determined according to the first information, the first configuration information being used to configure functionality control, the control comprising performing at least one of the following operations on the functionality: activation, deactivation, switch or change, fallback or release.
