Abstract

A crop observation device includes a camera unit that is mounted in a mobile body moving in a field, and captures an image of a crop being an observation target, in accordance with a movement of the mobile body, and an exposure adjustment unit that adjusts exposure in the camera unit. The exposure adjustment unit outputs a speed change signal for changing a moving speed of the mobile body or an adjustment state signal relating to an adjustment state of the exposure, based on the adjustment state of the exposure. According to such a configuration, it is possible to provide a crop observation device and the like capable of preventing an omission in the observation of a targeted agricultural crop, even in a variously changing environment.
