Abstract

A dispenser extending between a front end and a rear end along a longitudinal axis, the dispenser comprising: a threaded piston rod extending and movable along the longitudinal axis; a body nut in engagement, in particular in threaded engagement, with the piston rod; a drive nut in engagement, in particular in threaded engagement, with the piston rod; and a drive tube rotatable about the longitudinal axis and at least partially accommodating the piston rod in a slidable non-engaged manner, the drive tube interacting with the drive nut, wherein a rotation of the drive tube in a first direction causes a rotation of the piston rod about the longitudinal axis by a rotation of the drive nut and the rotation of the piston rod being transferred into an axial movement of the piston rod, in particular towards the front end, by means of the engagement between the piston rod and the body nut; the dispenser further comprising a lever pivotable about a pivot axis, wherein an activation of the lever for dispense operation rotates the drive tube in the first rotation direction.
