Abstract

The method comprises : - the acquisition (94) of a temperature of a connection terminal of the charging inlet at each instant t<i>, - the calculation (96), from the temperature acquired at an instant t<i> and a temperature acquired at an instant preceding that instant t<i> and the duration of the time interval separating these two instants, of a slope with which the temperature varies, - the comparison (98) of the calculated slope with a pre-recorded threshold, - only when this pre-recorded threshold is crossed, the detection (98) of a fault in the connection between the charging inlet and the charging coupler.
