Abstract
A lavatory system for an internal cabin of a vehicle comprises a monument defining an internal chamber. The monument comprises a contoured wall configured to conform to at least a portion of a shape of one or more passenger seats. First and second toilets are within the internal chamber. The first and second toilets can be staggered in relation to one another. A stowage chamber is within the internal chamber. The stowage chamber is configured to retain emergency equipment. A pedestal has one or more portions that are shaped to provide additional space within the internal chamber.
