Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an electronic safety actuator system (100) for an elevator car (2) or a counterweight (12) comprising: a first electronic safety actuator (9) comprising a first electromagnetic element (16, 30) configured to actuate a first safety brake (8) depending on whether it is supplied with electric power or not, and a first actuation detection switch (32) configured to switch upon actuation of the first safety brake (8), and a second electronic safety actuator (11) comprising a second electromagnetic element (16, 34) configured to actuate a second safety brake (10) depending on whether it is supplied with electric power or not, and a second actuation detection switch (36) configured to switch upon actuation of the second safety brake (10). The first actuation detection switch (32) is linked to the second electromagnetic element (16, 34) to control supply of electric power when switching, and the second actuation detection switch (36) is linked to the first electromagnetic element (16, 30) to control supply of electric power when switching. The present disclosure further relates to an elevator car (2) or a counterweight (12) for an elevator car comprising such an electronic safety actuator system (100).
