Abstract

A 2D camouflage net is provided, the 2D camouflage net comprising a warp knitted mesh fabric, said warp knitted mesh fabric comprises a plurality of stich pillars in warp direction of the fabric, and a plurality of electroconductive weft inlay yarns. Each stitch pillar comprises, consecutively and in warp direction, ∘ an intermeshed zone where a stich pillar is intermeshed with at least one adjacent stitch pillar and ∘ a stand-alone zone where the stitch pillar is free of intermeshing with any of the adjacent stich pillars. Each stitch pillar comprises at least one electroconductive yarn and at least one non-electroconductive yarn, only at least one non-electroconductive yarn provides the stitches in the stitch pillar; for at least some of the interlinked zones, one or more of the electroconductive weft inlay yarns are knitted in at the interlinked zone by one or more stitches of the stich pillars, the electroconductive weft inlay yarn being in direct contact with the electroconductive yarns of the two adjacent stich pillars in the interlinked zone.
