Abstract

There is provided a compact heated foldable drying apparatus comprising a first sub assembly (20) and second sub assembly (30). Each sub assembly rotatably supports at least two arm assemblies (26a, 26b, 28a, 28b, 30a, 30b) on spaced apart elongate frame members (34a, 34b, 34c, 34d). A connection assembly (40) joins the sub-assemblies and permits movement between a first state and at least a further state. It retains electrical conductors extending between the sub-assemblies as they move with respect to other between states. In the first state, each of the pair of elongate frame members (34a, 34b, 34c, 34d) of each sub assembly are adjacent to an elongate frame member of the other sub assembly. In a further state one elongate frame member of each sub assembly joined by the at least one connection assembly are adjacent to each other; and each of the other elongate frame members of the sub assembly are spaced apart from each other.
