Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a toilet bowl with an inner surface, an inlet port, and a drain. The inlet port is configured for feeding water in a horizontal direction. The inner surface comprises a first concave edge and a first convex edge. A shelf is defined between the first concave edge and the first convex edge. A depression is formed by a wall extending between the first convex edge and a second concave edge. The inner surface is configured for splitting the water into a first and a second flow. The first flow is guided along the shelf to perform a complete rotation, and the second flow is guided towards the wall before completing half a rotation. The second flow is diverted towards the drain by the wall and substantially tangentially to the wall until reaching the drain. The first flow, after the complete rotation, is guided towards a central portion of the drain by interaction with the second flow. The present disclosure also relates to a water closet and its use.
