Abstract

A method to produce an insulating polymer panel (10), the method comprises the steps: - providing two sets of o an intermediate polymer panel (111, 121), comprising a base plate (101) on which upstanding walls(102) are provided, said walls defining a number of cells (103) with a void inner space (104) and an open top (105), the cells being distributed over the base plate according to a pattern (130) o at least one insulating polymer sheet (112, 122), comprising a number of blocks (201) equal to or less than the number of cells of the intermediate polymer panel, said blocks each have two identical and parallel bases and one mantle face between the two bases, for each cell a block is provided for which the bases match the open top of the cell, ,, o the blocks being interconnected such the blocks are positioned within the insulating polymer sheet according to the same pattern; - for both sets of an intermediate polymer panel and an insulating polymer sheet, inserting the insulating polymer sheets (112, 122), in the intermediate polymer panels (111, 121) such the blocks are sunken in the cells to provide two intermediate filled polymer panels (301, 302), - connecting the edges (106) of the walls (102) of the first of the intermediate filled polymer panels to the edges of the walls of the second of the intermediate filled polymer panels.
