Abstract
Provided is a supersonic diffuser device. The supersonic diffuser device, which has one side coupled to a rocket engine nozzle part including a throat and discharging a supersonic exhaust gas and the other side exposed to atmosphere, includes: a cover part having one side coupled to the rocket engine nozzle part and having a hollow formed therein; and an insert inserted into the hollow to have a predetermined gap from the cover part, wherein, between the cover part and the insert, an expansion part in which a vacuum region is formed, a second throat part, and a discharge part in contact with the outside are sequentially defined from an upstream side.
