Abstract

The invention relates to a method for adjusting a balanced ventilation system, comprising entering for each air supply and air extract valve a desired airflow rate, measuring an airflow rate through each air supply and air extract valve, entering the measured airflow rates in a user interface, calculating a measured flow coefficient for each air duct with a characterized air supply or air extract valve and a measured flow coefficient for a combination of an air duct and a non-characterized air supply and air extract valve for each air duct with such an air supply or air extract valve, determining a flow coefficient for a common portion of a network of air supply valves and for a common portion of a network of air extract valves, calculating a desired flow coefficient for the characterized air supply and air extract valves and for the non-characterized air supply and air extract valves from a desired flow coefficient for the combination of the air duct with the air supply or air extract valve, and displaying in the user interface an adjustment instruction for at least one of the air supply and air extract valves.
