Abstract

The present disclosure relates to the field of vehicle technologies, and provides a hardware access control method and an electronic device. The method includes: receiving at least one hardware access request sent by at least one target operating system on a same chip, where the hardware access request is used to request a target pin that the target operating system needs to access; obtaining a pre-configured access control rule, where the access control rule is used to determine access permission of a plurality of operating systems on the same chip for a plurality of pins; and determining, according to the access control rule, the access permission of the target operating system corresponding to the hardware access request for the target pin. This implements pin-level fine-grained hardware isolation and reduces chip design and manufacturing costs.
