Abstract

The disclosed technology relates at least to a computer-implemented method (100) for visualizing data flow and sheet dependencies in a spreadsheet of a spreadsheet editor. The spreadsheet comprises a plurality of data sheets, each data sheet comprising a plurality of cells arranged in a structured grid. The method (100) comprises the steps of: for each data sheet of the plurality of data sheets: retrieving (S102) cell data associated with each of the plurality of cells of said data sheet, processing (S104) the cell data of at least a subset of the plurality of cells to identify data indicative of cross-sheet dependencies between said data sheet and any of the remaining data sheets; and attributing (S106) one of a set of predefined sheet categories to said data sheet, based on the identified data indicative of cross-sheet dependencies; and displaying (S110), via a display device, a graphical user interface comprising graphical elements representing the plurality of data sheets according to their respective attributed sheet category.
