Abstract

An advertisement selecting device includes a storage and a controller. The controller is configured to: receive pieces of advertisement data for printing advertisements on a package to be delivered and receive settings of types of target audiences of the advertisements and placement regions of the advertisements in the package; store, in the storage, the received pieces of advertisement data, the types of the target audiences of the advertisements, and the placement regions of the advertisements in association with one another; and for each of the placement regions of the advertisements in the package, refer to the storage and select a piece of advertisement data for printing the advertisement in the placement region from among the pieces of advertisement data stored in the storage based on the placement region and the type of the target audience corresponding to the placement region.
