Abstract
An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes a first acquisition unit, a second acquisition unit, and a generation unit. The first acquisition unit acquires a first image on which surface rendering has been executed on three-dimensional ultrasonic data related to a subject. The second acquisition unit acquires a light attenuation coefficient corresponding to the three-dimensional ultrasonic data. The generation unit generates a rendering image based on the first image and the light attenuation coefficient.
