Abstract

The present disclosure provides a positive electrode composite material of a lithium ion battery and an electrode plate including the positive electrode composite material. The positive electrode composite material includes a positive electrode active substance and a lithium ion conductor, where the lithium ion conductor includes island grains attached to a surface of the positive electrode active substance. The positive electrode active substance includes a lithium transition metal oxide having a layered structure or a spinel structure, and the lithium ion conductor includes garnet oxide. An interface formed by the lithium ion conductor and the positive electrode active substance has an interface phase which is different from a crystalline phase of the positive electrode active substance and a crystalline phase of the lithium ion conductor.
