Abstract

The invention is directed to an electrical base connector (1) comprising a housing (2), at least one cable (3) along a cable direction (X), as much terminal (4), a locking part (5), a seal (6) and a cover (7), each terminal (4) being connected to one associated cable (3), said housing (2) surrounding all of said at least one terminal (4) and presenting an aperture (8), allowing access to all of said at least one terminal (4) by a counter connector (M) along an inserting direction (Y) generally perpendicular to the cable direction (X), the locking part (5) being conformed to retain all said at least one terminal (4) against a traction upon one of the cable (3) along the cable direction (X), the seal (6) surrounding the aperture (8) and the cover (7) being affixed to the housing (2) so as to maintain the seal (6), wherein the locking part (5) and the cover (7) are integral, in a combined part (9).
