Abstract

Examples of the disclosure include a converter device comprising a communication interface configured to be communicatively coupled to a communication network, the communication network being configured to support at least one first communication protocol, a network controller interface configured to be communicatively coupled to an incompatible network controller, the incompatible network controller being configured to support at least one second communication protocol different than the at least one first communication protocol, and converter logic configured to convert first communications received at the communication interface from the at least one first communication protocol to the at least one second communication protocol, and convert second communications received at the network controller interface from the at least one second communication protocol to the at least one first communication protocol.
