Abstract
An in-vehicle communication device comprising a CPU subsystem configured with a plurality of high-performance cores that are electrically isolated from each other, a communication interface including a plurality of Ethernet communication ports, and an Ethernet Packet Processing Engine (EPP) that performs a routing function between the plurality of Ethernet communication ports, wherein the Ethernet Packet Processing Engine (EPP) interprets an input packet received through the communication interface on a hardware basis and forwards the input packet to at least one of the plurality of Ethernet communication ports to which a target node directed by the input packet is connected.
