Abstract
A fiducial frame comprising an attachment mechanism for attachment to a stereotactic frame. The fiducial frame further comprises fiducial imaging markers for aligning medical images to a frame of reference of the fiducial frame, and fiducial structures for coupling to a robotic surgical tool. Each fiducial structure comprises one of: a socket for receiving a convex locating structure of the robotic surgical tool; or a spherical protrusion for receiving a concave locating structure of the robotic surgical tool.
