Abstract

An apparatus for beauty or wellness treatments comprises a portion 12 provided with a massaging device 13 with rotating elements, which is at least partially exposed outwards and intended to produce pressure pulses on a patient's body. The massaging device 13 comprises in turn a rotor 15 adapted to be driven to rotate about a longitudinal axis of rotation 16 thereof and circumferentially provided with a plurality of massaging groups 17 intended to run, upon rotation of the rotor, over a circular trajectory about the axis of rotation 16. Each massaging group 17 in turn comprises, a plurality of rotatable massaging elements 18, arranged to roll on the patient's body when contacting it, generating said pressure pulses on the patient's body. The apparatus includes, at or near the massaging device 13, a laser light emitter 24, 24' configured to irradiate with laser light: A) an area of the patient's body on which at least one of said massaging elements 18 is rolling and/or on which at least one of said massaging elements 18 is exerting a pressure pulse; and/or B) a first area of the patient's body adjacent to a second area of the patient's body on which at least one of said massaging elements 18 is rolling and/or on which at least one of said massaging elements 18 is exerting a pressure pulse.
