Abstract

The flexible 2D bag (2) for distributing a biopharmaceutical product (F) can be assembled from two film pieces, by forming a peripheral seam with the film peripheral edges joined, thereby defining a longitudinal axis (A1) and an interior volume (V) between a seam bottom portion (2a) and a seam top portion (2b). Port(s) integrated through the seam bottom portion (2a) allow distribution of the product outside the containing part via respective lower outlets, for a sterile filling of several final containers (FC) with gravity-assisted flow in conditions of use. When forming the peripheral seam, a port (30) is integrated through a side seam portion (4) to provide a fluid inlet (3) away from the seam bottom portion (2a) with a spacing (d3) of at least 30 mm along the axis (A1). Gas management ports (11, 12) for gas circulation, positioned away from the bottom portion can be present.
